In Memory

In memory of our dear daughter--mother and sister--Mrs. Jane Buxton, who died February 8th, 1920.
   This day brings back sad memories
Of one that was called away.
   And those who think of her today,
Are ones who love her yet.
   Although your face we cannot see,
Your voice we never hear;
   We often sit and think of you
And shed a silent tear.
   Days of sadness still come 'oer us.
Tears of sorrow often flow;
   Memory keeps our loved one near us.

Though she died one year ago,
   Farewell dear mother, my life is past.
You truly loved me to the last,
   Weep not for me nor pity take--But love my children for my sake.
   Gone but not forgotten,
           By her two children,
           Father and Mother,
           Sister and Brothers
          and Sister-in-Law.
